when he rode Tattinger Rose to victory, bringing his win total
at Saratoga to 641

record of most stakes wins in a season (68) on Saturday, November
29, 2003 when he won three stakes races in a row at Aqueduct race
track, bringing his 2003 total to 70

the record for most Grade 1 wins, in a season, in 2003 with a
total of 26 victories.
